The Logitech G303 may be getting the modern wireless successor that its fans have been waiting for. Teevolution has shown the Kira, a new gaming mouse that closely follows the shape of the original Logitech G303 while adding a few changes to the design. The mouse was recently shown at Tokyo Game Show 2026, and Teevolution is currently targeting a Q1 2027 launch.
The Kira is still in development, but its shape is already familiar. The early CNC prototype keeps the compact, angular profile that made the original G303 different from most gaming mice. Teevolution has also made some changes around the sides and rear of the mouse. The side buttons are smaller and more clearly separated, while the rear section appears to have a smoother taper compared with the older design.
The timing is interesting because the original G303 has not received a direct hardware refresh in years. Logitech’s G303 Shroud Edition brought the name back as a wireless mouse, but its larger shape was different from the original G303. Teevolution’s Kira is being developed much closer to the original design, which has kept a following among FPS players who prefer its unusual shape.
Teevolution has been involving the community in the Kira’s development rather than simply moving from a concept to production. The company opened prototype testing earlier this year and collected feedback on the shape before showing the first CNC version. According to community updates, the first testing round has now finished, with further refinement planned before the design is finalized.
At this point, Teevolution has not confirmed the Kira’s final weight, sensor, switches, battery capacity, polling rate, or other internal hardware. Some discussion has suggested a target weight in the 35-40 gram range, but this should not be treated as a final specification while the mouse remains in development. Community discussions also suggest that the side-button placement and overall dimensions could still change after additional testing.
For reference, Teevolution’s existing Terra Pro uses a PixArt PAW 3950 sensor, FE optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks, and a 250 mAh battery. However, the company has not confirmed that the Kira will use the same hardware, so those specifications should not be attributed to the upcoming mouse yet.
