Scyrox Launches V12 Gaming Mouse With PAW NEXT I Sensor and 8KHz Wireless Polling

Scyrox has launched its latest gaming mouse, the V12, with specifications aimed at competitive PC gamers who prioritize low weight, fast sensor response, and high polling rates. The new model combines PixArt’s PAW NEXT I optical sensor with Nordic’s nRF54H20 controller and supports an 8KHz polling rate over both wired and wireless connections.

The Scyrox V12 uses a high-back shape and comes in two sizes to accommodate different hand sizes. The V12 M is intended for small to medium-sized hands, measuring 122 × 58 × 38 mm and weighing 50 ± 3g. The larger V12 L measures 126 × 60 × 40 mm and weighs 52 ± 3g. Despite the different dimensions, both versions use a 250mAh battery.

The PAW NEXT I sensor is one of the main features of the V12. It offers up to 50,000 CPI, with a tracking speed of 880 IPS, acceleration of up to 80G, and a 2,000 FPS frame rate. Scyrox lists tracking accuracy at approximately 99.8%. The sensor also allows users to adjust the resolution in 1 CPI steps, while the lift-off distance can be configured in 0.1 mm increments.

For the main buttons, Scyrox has equipped the V12 with Kailh optical microswitches. The mouse also uses the company’s electromagnetic levitation scroll wheel, which features a nano-microcrystalline coating.

The 8KHz polling rate is available in both connection modes, giving users the option to run the mouse wirelessly without dropping to a lower polling frequency. Combined with the lightweight body and high-resolution sensor, the V12 is clearly aimed at fast-paced competitive games where input response and mouse control are important.
