If you are looking for a lightweight wireless gaming mouse without a perforated main shell, WLMouse is preparing a new option that could be worth watching. The upcoming Huan M combines a 50±2g body with a holeless magnesium alloy top cover, PixArt’s PAW3955 sensor, and a smart 8K wireless receiver that can display mouse information in real time.

The WLMouse Huan M measures 122 × 63 × 39 mm and uses a medium-to-large hand mold. While the top cover is made from magnesium alloy, the bottom uses a perforated plastic design to help keep the overall weight down. This gives the mouse a different construction approach from many ultralight models that rely on a perforated shell across a larger portion of the body.
The Huan M is built around Nordic’s nRF54H20 controller and PixArt’s PAW3955 sensor. The main buttons use Omron optical microswitches, while the scroll wheel is paired with a TTC dust-cover silver wheel encoder. Power comes from a built-in 300mAh lithium battery.

What makes the package more interesting is the 2.4GHz receiver. Instead of acting as a simple wireless dongle, the WLMouse 8K receiver has its own nRF54H20 controller and a display that can show important mouse information without opening the companion software.
The receiver can display:
- DPI setting
- Polling rate
- Battery level
- Lift-off distance (LOD)
- Custom static images
- Battery and other alerts

WLMouse also says the receiver supports voice parameter adjustment. Its display can provide low-battery notifications and other visual alerts, while users can upload a static image to personalize the screen.
The receiver has a removable silicone cover, allowing users to protect the display or leave it exposed for a cleaner appearance on the desk. The design is intended to keep mouse information visible during use rather than hiding the receiver behind a monitor or PC.

WLMouse is also preparing two special co-branded versions associated with the Xi’an Museum. Their designs are inspired by museum artifacts, including a gilded dragon and the golden tiger tally. These versions will come with the redesigned 8K receiver and retain the display-focused functionality.
For the Huan M itself, WLMouse has added a smart indicator light on the left side. The mouse measures 122 × 63 × 39 mm, weighs 50±2g, uses a 300mAh battery, and connects through 2.4GHz wireless.

WLMouse has yet to reveal the Huan M’s final price and full launch details. With the PAW3955 sensor, magnesium alloy construction, 50g weight, and an 8K receiver that doubles as an information display, the Huan M is shaping up as a wireless gaming mouse aimed at users who want more information available without opening software.
