CIGA Design Launches Hunter Series With Skeleton Dials and Titanium Tourbillon

If you want a mechanical watch that lets you see what is happening inside the case, CIGA Design’s new Hunter series is built around exactly that idea. The company has officially launched the lineup with four models, including the Hunter Tourbillon, Hunter, Hunter Titanium, and Hunter Vintage. Prices start at $599, while the flagship Hunter Tourbillon reaches $1,999.

Rather than hiding the movement behind a traditional dial, CIGA Design uses skeletonized cases and semi-transparent elements across the Hunter range. The watches are designed to keep the mechanical components visible while using different case materials and finishes to separate each model.

The Hunter Tourbillon is the most expensive model in the lineup and uses CIGA Design’s in-house CD-011 movement. It is a hand-wound, twin-barrel tourbillon with 26 jewels and a claimed 72-hour power reserve. The movement sits inside a Grade 5 titanium tonneau-shaped case, while the semi-transparent skeleton dial exposes more of the mechanism.

CIGA Design offers the Hunter Tourbillon in Blue, Carbon, and Silver. Each version includes Super-LumiNova markers and hands, and buyers can also choose an optional fluororubber strap instead of the titanium bracelet. The watch is priced at $1,999 through CIGA Design’s online store.

For buyers looking to spend less, the standard CIGA Design Hunter uses the CD-07 automatic movement with 24 jewels. It retains the open-skeleton design and pairs it with sapphire glass and a DLC-coated 316L stainless steel case. The Hunter has a 3 ATM water-resistance rating and is available in Black, Carbon, Silver, and Gold for $599.

The Hunter Titanium takes the same CD-07 movement and changes the case construction. CIGA Design uses thinner titanium sections to reduce overall visual bulk and give the watch a lighter design. It also raises water resistance to 5 ATM. The Hunter Titanium is available in Blue, Carbon, and Silver and costs $899.

The Hunter Vintage returns to the original Hunter design but uses warmer color combinations. Brown Gold, Sand Gold, and Rose Gold versions are available, with gold-colored details on the hands and dial and contrasting screws around the skeletonized design. It carries the same $599 price as the standard Hunter.

For buyers comparing the four models, the main differences are:

  • Hunter Tourbillon: CD-011 hand-wound tourbillon, Grade 5 titanium, 72-hour power reserve, $1,999
  • Hunter: CD-07 automatic movement, DLC 316L stainless steel, 3 ATM, $599
  • Hunter Titanium: CD-07 automatic movement, titanium case, 5 ATM, $899
  • Hunter Vintage: CD-07 automatic movement, vintage color options, $599

The new CIGA Design Hunter series gives buyers several price points while keeping the mechanical movement at the center of the design. The $599 Hunter models target those who want the skeleton-watch look without moving into tourbillon pricing, while the Hunter Titanium adds a lighter case and improved water resistance. At the top of the range, the Hunter Tourbillon brings CIGA Design’s CD-011 movement and a 72-hour power reserve to a $1,999 watch.
