MOREFINE G2 eGPU with RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Listed for $1099, Shipping Starts May 20

MOREFINE has listed its new external GPU solution, the MOREFINE G2 external graphics card, on its global website. The device integrates a desktop-class NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti paired with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. According to the listing, the G2 is priced at $1099, with shipments expected to begin on May 20.

The G2 is built for users looking to extend the graphics capabilities of their laptops without moving to a full desktop setup. It supports both Thunderbolt 5 and OCuLink 4.0×4 connections, offering flexibility across a range of modern systems. Support for the USB4 v2 standard also ensures compatibility with newer devices entering the market.

On the connectivity side, the external GPU dock includes a Thunderbolt 5 downstream port capable of delivering up to 4K resolution at 144Hz. The unit also provides three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for peripherals, along with one HDMI 2.0 port and one DisplayPort 1.4 output. This range of ports allows users to connect multiple displays and accessories through a single setup.

Power delivery is handled through support for up to 100W PD output, allowing the dock to charge a connected laptop while in use. This reduces the need for separate chargers and helps maintain a cleaner desk arrangement. Cooling is managed by a built-in fan system that offers three operating modes, giving users the option to adjust between lower noise levels and higher cooling performance.

In terms of size, the G2 measures 140 x 100 x 54 mm and weighs approximately 700 grams. The compact design, combined with an external power supply, makes it easier to carry compared to traditional desktop GPU setups, while still providing enough power for demanding workloads.

External GPU solutions continue to evolve as interface speeds improve, and the MOREFINE G2 reflects this shift. With support for newer connection standards and a desktop-grade GPU, it targets users who need higher graphics performance for gaming or content creation on portable systems.
