HYTE has partnered with Square Enix to introduce a themed version of its Y70 PC chassis based on Final Fantasy XIV Online. The announcement was made during the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival, where the company confirmed that pre-orders for the limited-edition case are now open through its official website.
The Final Fantasy XIV Y70 case keeps the same structural layout as the standard Y70, but shifts the focus toward visual presentation. It features panoramic tempered-glass panels with artwork centered around the game’s cast, giving the chassis a display-oriented design. The exterior is complemented by a serialized “Warrior of Light” plate on the rear panel, marking each unit as part of a limited production run. The game’s logo is also placed on the back, reinforcing the theme without altering the case’s overall form factor.
HYTE’s Y70 platform is already known for its dual-chamber layout and support for modern hardware configurations, including large GPUs and liquid cooling setups. This collaboration keeps those features intact while offering a different look for fans who want their systems to reflect a specific game. The approach follows a growing pattern in the PC hardware space, where case manufacturers introduce licensed designs tied to well-known titles.
The case will also be shown in person at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim, California, at the HYTE and iBUYPOWER booth. This gives attendees a closer look at the panel artwork and finish ahead of its retail release.
The Official Final Fantasy XIV Y70 case is priced at $299.99 and is expected to ship in Q3 2026. Availability will be limited, with HYTE positioning it as both a functional PC chassis and a collectible item tied to the long-running MMORPG.
