EPOMAKER has released the RT100 PRO mechanical keyboard, introducing a refreshed design with added modular functionality. The keyboard starts at 649 yuan and expands on the earlier RT100 series with a customizable module placed in the top-right corner.
This modular section allows users to switch between four programmable function keys or a 1.54-inch square display. The display can be used for system information, custom graphics, or basic status indicators, offering an extra layer of personalization without changing the overall layout of the keyboard.
The RT100 PRO carries a retro-themed design, combining an ABS body with an aluminum frame for added rigidity. The keyboard measures 20.6mm at the front and 32.4mm at the rear, creating a natural typing angle. A side-mounted scroll wheel is also included, providing quick adjustments for volume or other assigned controls.
On the internal side, EPOMAKER has implemented a gasket mounting structure aimed at delivering a softer typing feel while reducing vibration. The keyboard features a south-facing RGB hot-swappable PCB, allowing users to replace switches without soldering. A PC mounting plate sits beneath the switches, supported by five layers of sound-absorbing materials designed to reduce typing noise and internal echo.
The RT100 PRO is available with Cloud Jade or Sea Salt Silent switches, both targeting quieter operation. It also uses original-profile PBT keycaps with dye-sublimation legends, which are less prone to fading over time compared to standard printed caps.
Battery capacity is rated at 5000mAh, with EPOMAKER claiming more than 100 hours of use when RGB lighting is turned off. As a tri-mode keyboard, the RT100 PRO supports wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, making it suitable for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
With its modular display option, layered internal design, and extended battery life, the RT100 PRO enters the market as a feature-rich mechanical keyboard focused on flexibility and everyday usability.
