At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, rugged device manufacturer Oukitel introduced two new products designed for field work and industrial environments. The company presented the RG14-P rugged laptop and the RT10 industrial tablet, both aimed at users who need reliable hardware for outdoor and remote operations. The RG14-P drew attention for its solar panel integrated into the lid of the laptop. According to Oukitel, the panel is designed to generate power when the system is exposed to sunlight, helping extend operating time in locations where traditional power sources are not available. The feature is intended for off-grid environments such as construction sites, field inspections, and outdoor technical work.

The laptop uses a dual-battery configuration that combines a 3000mAh main battery with a 5200mAh backup battery. This setup is designed to provide longer usage time when working away from power outlets. The RG14-P also supports 65W fast charging, allowing the system to recharge more quickly when connected to a power source. The device features a 14.1-inch touchscreen display and runs on Windows 11, giving users access to standard desktop applications and enterprise software. Oukitel is also offering an optional built-in camping light designed for outdoor work or emergency lighting during nighttime operations.
Alongside the rugged laptop, Oukitel introduced the RT10 industrial tablet. The company describes the RT10 as a multi-functional device designed for industrial workflows that require scanning, identification, and data entry. The tablet includes a customizable industrial-grade fingerprint recognition module designed for secure authentication. It can also be configured with a high-speed QR code scanner, enabling support for logistics operations, inventory tracking, and warehouse management workflows.

Battery capacity is another focus of the RT10. The tablet includes a large 25,000mAh battery designed for extended operation during long shifts or remote field assignments. In addition, the tablet features dual 5W speakers and a high-brightness camping light for improved visibility in outdoor environments. Oukitel also confirmed that a Pro version of the RT10 will be available. This variant will include a built-in projector, which could be useful for field presentations, inspections, or quick visual demonstrations without requiring additional equipment.
While pricing and availability details were not announced during the event, the RG14-P and RT10 reflect the company’s focus on rugged devices designed for industrial and outdoor use cases. As more industries adopt mobile computing in field environments, hardware designed for durability, extended battery life, and specialized tools continues to gain attention.
