Abxylute has announced a new gaming accessory for overseas markets, revealing the N9C controller designed for the Nintendo Switch 2. The controller follows the button layout and overall design language of the original Nintendo GameCube controller, targeting players who prefer a familiar control scheme for certain titles. Unlike split or expandable controllers often associated with mobile gaming, the N9C uses an integrated body design that does not extend and is intended solely for handheld use.

The N9C connects to the Nintendo Switch 2 via a USB-C interface. According to the company, the controller is equipped with capacitive analog sticks and micro-switch ABXY buttons. It also includes a 9-axis gyroscope to support motion controls, along with a dedicated C button for voice chat functions. Additional features include a rapid-fire mode, support for custom button mapping, macro configuration, and four levels of adjustable vibration.

Abxylute has closely replicated the original GameCube controller layout, which is commonly preferred for games such as Super Smash Bros.. The visual design reflects this focus as well, using the same indigo color scheme associated with the classic console. The smaller right analog stick and the contrasting ABXY button colors have also been reproduced to match the original design as closely as possible.

At present, the Abxylute N9C controller is not available for retail purchase. However, the company’s founder, Donald Zhang, has confirmed that the controller will be introduced through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The campaign is scheduled to launch on February 17, with further details on pricing, availability, and final specifications expected to be shared during the campaign period.
