Angry Miao has announced the AM Infinity .97, a smaller version of its first wireless gaming mouse, the AM Infinity, originally released in March 2025. The new model is designed to improve comfort for users with slightly smaller hands while keeping key features from the original.
The AM Infinity .97 retains the magnesium alloy shell and hot-swap battery system, allowing continuous play without downtime. The mouse is now 3% smaller and weighs 47 grams, about 2 grams less than the original. This change targets gamers who prefer a lighter, more compact design similar to the Razer Viper V3 Pro.
The battery capacity remains at 340 mAh, supporting up to 43 hours at 1000 Hz polling and 17 hours at 8000 Hz. Wireless operation can reduce the weight further by around 10 grams. The mouse also uses the PixArt 3950 sensor and TTC Optical Micro switches from the original model.

Design improvements include a transparent rear panel covering the previous large opening, adding support for palm and claw grips. The sides are now solid instead of honeycomb, improving stability for different grip styles.
The Angry Miao AM Infinity .97 is set to launch on Kickstarter on February 26. Pricing has not been confirmed, while the original AM Infinity starts at $129 with a 2.4 GHz receiver and two battery packs included.
