Brigada Games has officially launched its first game, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, now available on Steam. To celebrate the release, the game is offered with a 10% discount until January 26. The title puts players in the role of managing a checkpoint in a quarantined area, where they must control the spread of infection while overseeing resources and survivors.
The full release introduces several new gameplay elements that were not present in the demo released last May. Players now have access to new tools alongside improvements to existing ones. The game has replaced the previous cart-based supply system with a tablet interface for base and resource management. This change streamlines operations and adds depth to the strategic elements of the game. Additionally, the inclusion of a science lab allows players to conduct experiments that enhance the core gameplay loop.

A new quest system adds more variety to the screening process, setting rules and criteria for which survivors can pass through the checkpoint. This system encourages players to make careful decisions and consider the impact of their choices on overall survival. The developers have also added multiple other features and updates, giving players new challenges and activities to explore.
Voiceover work for the full release has been completed with professional actors. Brigada Games collaborated with a studio and freelance actors to ensure each line was delivered as intended, without using generative AI. This adds clarity and personality to the characters in the game, enhancing the overall experience.

The development team is actively seeking player feedback to guide post-launch updates. They will monitor bug reports and provide support for any issues encountered by players. With these updates and improvements, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check offers a rich survival strategy experience that encourages players to explore, plan, and manage resources while uncovering new gameplay elements.
