Project Motor Racing has officially arrived on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, marking a major release for sim racing fans seeking an experience shaped by both professional drivers and an active creator community. Developed by Straight4 Studios and published by GIANTS Software, the new racing sim uses the GIANTS Engine to deliver a platform built for long-term expansion, modding, and competitive play.
At launch, the game arrives with full mod support across every platform, giving players a flexible way to shape their experience. Through the GIANTS Editor and the integrated UGC Portal, users can create, upload, and share content directly inside the game. This covers everything from liveries and car setups to track recreations and custom events. Community-made additions are already live, including a collection of unique liveries and a complete GTO 250 km at Daytona career recreation.
The post-launch content starts with Praga joining the roster, bringing the Bohema hypercar as a free download for all players. With mod tools available on both PC and consoles, Project Motor Racing positions itself as a rare example in the sim racing space, offering creators and players a platform that encourages long-term involvement and steady content growth.

The game includes a detailed Single-Player Career modeled after the high-pressure world of real motorsport. The “Survival”-style approach focuses on managing race strategies, repair costs, and season-long performance. A simple mistake, such as a failed overtake or mechanical damage, can affect an entire championship run, underscoring the importance of precision and planning.
Online players can compete in Cross-Play Ranked Racing with unified physics across all supported platforms. This ensures consistent competition whether players are on PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X/S. Ranked events, no-fee custom lobbies, and two leaderboards provide options for racers with different goals. Newcomers can rely on adjustable AI and assist options, while experienced sim racers can take advantage of a 720 Hz physics model aimed at delivering highly responsive handling and force feedback.

Project Motor Racing offers a large selection of vehicles covering five decades of motorsport history. The confirmed roster includes 70 models from major manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, and Lamborghini. Players can race these cars on 28 track layouts, featuring locations such as Spa-Francorchamps, Daytona, Mount Panorama, and the Nürburgring with the Nordschleife. Each circuit uses the “True2Track” surface system, which updates grip levels throughout each session to reflect evolving racing conditions.
According to Straight4 Studios and GIANTS Software, the title will continue to grow through a combination of free updates, premium packs, and a Year 1 Season Pass. Upcoming additions include more vehicles, tracks, and brand partnerships. The developers emphasize that launch day marks only the first stage of an extended content plan intended to evolve the sim in collaboration with its community.

Project Motor Racing is available now, offering a comprehensive foundation for both casual players and dedicated sim racers, supported by tools that allow the community to shape the future of the experience.
