Saber Interactive, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, has shared a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Jurassic Park: Survival. The upcoming single-player action-adventure game is set one day after the events of the 1993 Jurassic Park film and is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Although the title will not be making an appearance at Gamescom 2025, the newly released video offers fresh insights into its development. The footage highlights how Saber Interactive and NBCUniversal are working together to faithfully recreate Isla Nublar, complete with its iconic locations and newly designed areas not seen in the film.
Players will take on the role of Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist portrayed by actress Payal Mistry, who remains stranded on the island following the park’s collapse. The gameplay blends first-person stealth with action elements, requiring players to navigate dangerous environments while avoiding encounters with dinosaurs.
Key Gameplay Features:
- Explore Isla Nublar – Travel through detailed recreations of famous park locations, including the Visitor Center and park gates, alongside new areas created for the game.
- Dinosaur Encounters – Outsmart and evade predators using distraction, stealth, and environmental tactics to survive.
- Survival Mechanics – Manage resources and overcome environmental hazards while exploring diverse regions of the island.

The developers have focused on authenticity, working with Universal to match the look, behavior, and movement of the dinosaurs to their on-screen counterparts. The featurette also shows how the team is capturing the atmosphere of the original film through environmental design and sound.
