WLMouse Unveils Huan Year of the Horse Limited Edition Gaming Mouse

WLMouse has officially announced a new limited edition version of its Huan gaming mouse to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The Huan Year of the Horse Edition is scheduled to go on sale in February, though the company has not yet shared pricing details. This release follows the original Huan, a lightweight wireless mouse built with a magnesium alloy shell and a compact shape similar to the Razer Viper Mini, weighing around 48 grams.

The Year of the Horse edition introduces a red color scheme with a custom graphic applied to the solid shell. WLMouse also includes a matching red base station and themed grips featuring detailed printed designs. As with the standard Huan model, the limited edition is expected to ship with a familiar accessory bundle, including extra-wide skates, dot skates, a USB-C charging cable, and multiple grip options. A matching mousepad has also surfaced alongside the announcement, suggesting it may be released as part of the same lineup.

Hardware specifications are expected to remain unchanged from the regular Huan. The mouse is built around a Nordic 54HM microcontroller and uses a tuned PixArt PAW3950HS sensor with an optional 20K FPS lock. Main clicks rely on Omron optical switches, while scrolling is handled by a TTC Silver Dust-Proof encoder. Given the original Huan’s $155 price and the higher cost of existing special colorways, such as the Nekko edition at $169, the Year of the Horse limited edition is expected to carry a similar or higher price point once it becomes available.
