TRYX is taking a different approach to gaming keyboards with its upcoming VESTRA VISION, a magnetic gaming keyboard that places a large 5.48-inch OLED display beneath transparent switches. Instead of using a small screen for basic system information, the company is designing the display as part of the keyboard’s main visual experience, with support for custom themes, animations, and graphics.
The VESTRA VISION is built around Hall-effect magnetic switches and targets gamers who want adjustable input control alongside a more customizable desktop setup. TRYX lists actuation adjustment from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, while Rapid Trigger precision is specified at 0.01mm. The keyboard also supports an 8,000Hz polling rate, allowing it to report input data up to 8,000 times per second.
The 5.48-inch OLED display is the main feature of the keyboard. Rather than functioning as a small status panel, it sits beneath the transparent switches and keycaps, allowing users to display custom themes, loops, and dynamic graphics. TRYX also plans synchronization between the OLED visuals and RGB lighting, so animations and colors can extend across the keyboard.
There is also a touch-ready display area at the top of the keyboard. Users can tap or swipe it to switch themes, launch apps, adjust actuation settings, and control media. TRYX says the OLED system and Hall-effect input system use separate controllers, allowing display animations and controls to operate without interrupting keyboard input.
For competitive gaming, the VESTRA VISION supports features including Rapid Trigger, RS, DKS, SOCD, TGL, and MT. TRYX says the firmware is optimized for FPS games such as Valorant and Counter-Strike, while the magnetic switches are designed to provide adjustable actuation and rapid key resets.
The keyboard can also be customized through its software, with options for OLED visuals, lighting, actuation settings, and profiles. TRYX has not yet published final retail pricing on the product page and is currently asking interested users to join the launch list for availability and early-access information.
