Thermaltake Expands Peripheral Lineup with Retrocraft 75 Keyboard and A5 Wireless Mouse at CES 2026

Thermaltake (Tt) used CES 2026 to highlight its growing focus on PC peripherals, introducing new wireless keyboards and a lightweight mouse designed to match the company’s recent hardware releases. Known primarily for PC cases, power supplies, and cooling solutions, Thermaltake has been steadily building a broader ecosystem, and its latest products reflect that direction.

The center of attention was the Retrocraft 75 Wireless mechanical keyboard, which follows the same retro design language as Thermaltake’s recently announced chassis and water-cooling components. The keyboard features an ivory white color scheme inspired by classic PC hardware, paired with a compact 75% layout that balances desk space and functionality. Its aluminum alloy body adds weight and rigidity, while metal control knobs provide additional input options for tasks such as volume or media control.

From a build perspective, Thermaltake equipped the Retrocraft 75 with lubricated mechanical switches and double-shot PBT keycaps. The keycaps support backlighting and are mounted using a gasket structure. Internally, the keyboard uses multiple layers of acoustic damping materials, which are intended to reduce hollow sounds and vibration during typing. The PCB supports single-key RGB backlighting, allowing users to customize lighting effects through supported software.

Connectivity is handled through a tri-mode setup, enabling the keyboard to be used in wired mode, 2.4GHz wireless, or Bluetooth. This allows compatibility with desktops, laptops, and other devices without switching hardware. A built-in 4000mAh battery powers the wireless operation, positioning the Retrocraft 75 as a long-use keyboard for both office and home setups.

Thermaltake also announced another keyboard under the same design approach, called the V75 Max Wireless. While similar in layout and general construction, the V75 Max is offered in more conventional white and black color options. This model targets users who prefer a cleaner or more traditional look while still benefiting from wireless connectivity and mechanical switches.

In addition to keyboards, Thermaltake revealed the A5 Wireless optical mouse at CES 2026. The mouse features a quasi-symmetrical shape designed to accommodate a wide range of grip styles. It uses the PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor, which supports up to 26,000 cpi, making it suitable for both gaming and productivity tasks. The mouse is equipped with Huanuo microswitches rated for 80 million clicks.

Like the keyboards, the A5 Wireless supports tri-mode connectivity, offering wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth operation. It also features a 1000Hz polling rate in wireless mode. Thermaltake states that the mouse includes a 500mAh internal battery and weighs between 60 and 70 grams, placing it in the lightweight category.

With these announcements, Thermaltake continues to extend its presence in the peripheral market. The new keyboards and mouse reflect a focus on unified design, wireless flexibility, and modern component choices, aligning with the company’s broader PC hardware lineup showcased at CES 2026.
