PLAION REPLAI and Retro Games Ltd. (RGL) have announced the release of THEC64 Mini – Black Edition, a new version of the retro console launching worldwide on October 24, 2025. This edition introduces a matte-and-gloss black finish and comes with 25 pre-installed games, many of which have been updated for this release and are otherwise not commercially available.
THEC64 Mini – Black Edition is a modern recreation of the Commodore 64, the iconic 8-bit home computer that sold more than 17 million units globally. The launch is part of the “Back In Black” campaign, celebrating the community of developers and fans who have continued to create games and content for the C64 platform for over 40 years.
