Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has officially released The Forsaken Hollows, a new DLC designed to expand the world of Elden Ring Nightreign, the co-op survival action game developed by FromSoftware. The update is now live on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, giving players across all platforms access to fresh content and new gameplay layers.
The latest DLC introduces two new archetypes, each adding distinct playstyles for Nightfarers looking to refine their approach. The Scholar is presented as an academic figure with a strong command of spellcasting. His arcane knowledge and ability to read combat scenarios allow players to take advantage of openings and adapt to threats with calculated precision. The Undertaker, on the other hand, brings a disciplined and faith-driven background. Tasked by her monastery to pursue the Nightlord, she relies on her physical power and measured technique, serving as a resilient front-line fighter who can clear paths for her team.
Alongside character additions, The Forsaken Hollows expands the game’s environment with new areas and dangers found in Limveld. Players will encounter fresh enemy types throughout their journey, requiring new strategies as the world shifts around them. The DLC also introduces two new bosses, both appearing at the beginning of the third day, raising the stakes during the late phase of each run. These encounters are designed to test coordination between players as they prepare for the final confrontation.
A notable feature included in the update is the Shifting Earth, a mechanic that changes the map layout under certain conditions. This system ensures that even returning players face unexpected pathways, resource placements, and enemy positions. The Forsaken Hollows DLC is available today. Players on Steam who own or purchase the Deluxe, Seekers, or Collector’s Editions will receive the new content automatically. Console players can download the DLC from the store page on their system. Those using the Standard Edition on any platform can purchase the DLC separately.
