Techland has shared a detailed eleven-week update plan for Dying Light: The Beast, following the game’s successful launch last month. The studio confirmed several upcoming features and a global community event to keep players engaged over the next three months.
The roadmap includes the addition of New Game+ mode, Legend Levels, Nightmare Difficulty, new weapon executions, and Ray Tracing support on PC. The latter feature was removed shortly before release, but Techland has now confirmed its return. A PUBG Mobile collaboration is also part of the plan, with more information to be shared in the coming weeks.

Alongside the content updates, Techland introduced a global community initiative called Call of the Beast. The event started today and runs until January 7, 2026, featuring weekly challenges and exclusive rewards released every Thursday. Players worldwide will work together to meet shared goals, earning new weapons, car skins, and cosmetics through collective effort.

Players who contribute to at least 17 out of 22 challenges will receive a Legendary Reward at the end of the event. If the community completes 20 goals, everyone who participated in at least one challenge will receive all available rewards.

The first community challenge, named Season to Dismember, requires players to cut off 30 million limbs to unlock the Lumberjack Car Skin and 60 million limbs to earn the Woodchopper Axe. This challenge will run until October 23 at 4 PM CEST.
Techland’s update schedule and global event aim to keep the community active with regular content drops, new gameplay modes, and cooperative challenges that encourage long-term participation in Dying Light: The Beast.
