TEAMGROUP has announced that its T-CREATE EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 desktop memory has received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2026. Designed for creators and developers running generative AI workloads locally, the memory combines a capacity of 128GB per module with a rated data rate of 8,000 MT/s at 1.1V. According to TEAMGROUP, it is the company’s first DDR5 CQDIMM desktop memory to offer 128GB on a single module.
The memory uses an independent clock driver and TEAMGROUP’s patented IC grading verification technology to deliver its rated speed without overclocking. A two-module configuration provides 256GB of total capacity, giving workstation users more room for memory-intensive tasks such as large language model (LLM) inference, 4K and 8K content production, and 3D rendering.
TEAMGROUP said the product was developed to address the growing memory requirements of local AI computing. The T-CREATE EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 is optimized for Intel Z890 platforms using a two-DIMM, one-slot-per-channel (1SPC) configuration. Its perforated heat spreader is designed to help manage heat during extended workloads, while the minimalist exterior follows the T-CREATE product line’s design approach. Actual compatibility and operating speeds will depend on the motherboard, processor, BIOS, and supported memory configuration.

TEAMGROUP said the recognition reflects its work on memory products that combine technical capabilities with practical design for creative professionals.
