TeamGroup has unveiled a new line of solid-state drives, launching the NV Series with its first model—the NV5000 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD. Designed for mainstream users, the NV5000 targets those looking for high-efficiency performance at a reasonable cost. The NV Series, short for “Nova Value,” represents a new direction in the company’s storage portfolio, offering a blend of speed, reliability, and compatibility across a wide range of systems.
The TeamGroup NV5000 utilizes the PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and supports the NVMe 1.4 protocol. This M.2 2280 form factor drive delivers sequential read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s and offers capacities of up to 2TB. Built with 3D NAND flash, the NV5000 achieves data transfer rates that significantly surpass traditional SATA SSDs and previous-generation PCIe Gen3 models. Whether used in desktops or laptops, the drive is suitable for everyday computing tasks, including media storage, software loading, and productivity workflows.

The NV5000 is fully compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms, making it a versatile upgrade path for users on modern systems. The drive includes TeamGroup’s patented ultra-thin graphene heat-dissipating label, which effectively helps manage thermals during extended workloads. With a thickness of under 1mm, the label does not interfere with motherboard-integrated M.2 heatsinks, ensuring ease of installation and consistent cooling efficiency.

To support long-term usage, the NV5000 includes compatibility with TeamGroup’s proprietary monitoring software, allowing users to check drive health and performance metrics through a streamlined interface. The drive also meets international environmental standards such as RoHS and REACH and comes in recyclable packaging, reinforcing the company’s focus on sustainable practices.
TeamGroup has confirmed that the NV5000 is the first of several models planned under the NV Series. Future releases will expand the lineup with more Gen4-based storage solutions aimed at users seeking dependable performance in everyday computing environments.
The NV5000 will be available soon across TeamGroup’s global retail and distribution channels. Further details, including pricing and regional availability, will be announced through the company’s official platforms.
