TCL has officially launched the TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER in the United States, bringing its paper-like display technology to a larger tablet designed for work, study, and entertainment. The new Tablet features a 12.2-inch 2.4K display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, Android 16, and several built-in AI tools aimed at improving productivity for students and young professionals.
The latest addition to TCL’s NXTPAPER lineup is built for users looking for a device that offers a comfortable viewing experience during long reading sessions while also supporting multitasking, note-taking, and creative work. According to TCL, the company has continued refining its proprietary NXTPAPER technology through four generations. The display combines multiple eye-comfort technologies, including Nano Crystal Shield Glass, the OmniSoft Light System, Always-On Proactive Eye Comfort Technology, hardware-level DC Dimming, and TÜV-certified paper-like display technology. Together, these features are designed to reduce eye fatigue while maintaining vibrant colors and sharp image quality.
The TCL NXTPAPER 15 includes a dedicated NXTPAPER Key that lets users switch instantly between Ink Paper Mode, Color Paper Mode, and Standard Mode without opening the system settings. TCL has also enhanced its 3-in-1 VersaView feature, allowing selected apps to stay in the regular display mode while the rest of the interface remains in a paper-like viewing mode.
The TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER features a 12.2-inch display with a 2.4K resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The taller aspect ratio provides additional vertical workspace, making it more suitable for reading documents, browsing websites, editing files, and taking notes.
