Syntech Unveils Chronos 68 Rapid Trigger Magnetic Keyboard for Gamers and Professionals

Syntech has introduced the Chronos 68 Rapid Trigger Magnetic Keyboard, a new compact model built for users who need fast response times, customizable features, and a solid typing experience. Designed to support both gaming and work, the keyboard combines high-end materials with a range of performance-oriented technologies.

The Chronos 68 features a sturdy aluminium frame that gives it a premium and durable feel. It comes with a magnetic dust cover and an ergonomic wrist rest, providing added comfort and protection for regular use. With a 68-key layout, the keyboard offers a balance between size and functionality, making it suitable for smaller desks or users who prefer a cleaner setup without sacrificing essential keys.

The Chronos 68 features a magnetic switch system that lets users fine-tune the actuation point of each key, from an ultra-sensitive 0.1 mm to a more deliberate 3.5 mm. It also supports an 8000 Hz polling rate, delivering exceptionally low input latency and near-instantaneous keystroke recognition.

The Rapid Trigger feature resets a key as soon as it is released, allowing for quicker repeated presses—useful in fast-paced games. Another feature, Snap Tap, is designed to prioritize inputs during overlapping key presses, reducing the chances of missed or conflicting commands during intense gaming sessions.

Customization is a major focus of this model. The Chronos 68 includes dedicated hotkeys for quick access to settings and profile switching. Users can adjust key functions, create macros, and fine-tune actuation levels using the companion software, which is available through both a downloadable program and a browser-based version. Multiple profiles can be saved and switched depending on the game or task.

For players who use complex control setups, the Super Tap function allows a single key to perform up to four different actions based on how it’s pressed. This makes it possible to streamline controls without adding more keys, which can be especially useful in games with layered commands like MOBAs or strategy titles.

The typing feel is also a focus. The keyboard uses enclosed magnetic switches that produce a unique acoustic signature called the Pebble Cavity Tone. The keycaps are made from double-shot PBT, known for their resistance to wear and consistent texture over time.

The Syntech Chronos 68 Rapid Trigger Magnetic Keyboard is available now with a retail price of $139.
