Sony Unveils INZONE H6 Air Headset and M10S II 540Hz OLED Monitor with Fnatic Collaboration

Sony Electronics Inc. has expanded its INZONE gaming portfolio with a new headset and a high-refresh OLED monitor aimed at competitive players. The launch includes the INZONE H6 Air wired headset and the INZONE M10S II gaming monitor, both designed to improve precision and consistency during gameplay. The monitor has been developed in collaboration with Fnatic, reflecting a continued focus on esports-driven features.

The INZONE H6 Air introduces an open-back acoustic design to Sony’s gaming lineup, offering a wider and more natural sound field compared to closed-back alternatives. By leaving the housing open, the headset reduces internal sound reflections, allowing audio to travel more freely. This results in improved positional accuracy, which can be useful in games where directional cues play a key role.

Sony has equipped the headset with custom driver units based on the same design principles used in its Sony MDR-MV1. These drivers are paired with integrated back ducts to manage airflow and improve bass response without affecting clarity. The result is a balanced output where low frequencies remain controlled while mids and highs retain detail. The H6 Air weighs approximately 199 grams, making it the lightest gaming headset in Sony’s current lineup. It adopts a spring hinge headband design similar to the INZONE H9 II, helping maintain a secure fit without adding unnecessary pressure during long sessions. The lightweight construction and aluminum components contribute to overall comfort.

Sony has also worked with sound designers from PlayStation Studios to develop an “RPG/Adventure” equalizer profile. This preset is tuned to highlight environmental audio and dialogue clarity in story-driven games. Through the INZONE Hub software, users can access this profile along with virtual 7.1-channel surround sound and 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming. Communication is handled by a detachable cardioid boom microphone designed to focus on the user’s voice while reducing background noise. The flexible arm allows for easy positioning, keeping voice capture consistent during gameplay.

The INZONE M10S II is built for competitive gaming, combining a QHD resolution panel with a refresh rate of up to 540 Hz. It uses a tandem-structured OLED panel designed to improve brightness efficiency while maintaining the fast response times associated with OLED technology. Sony lists a response time of 0.02 ms, targeting reduced motion blur during fast-paced gameplay. To address motion clarity, the monitor includes a Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) feature that maintains higher brightness levels compared to traditional implementations. This approach helps preserve image visibility while reducing blur, especially during high-speed scenes.

A Super Anti-glare Film has been added to minimize reflections, making the display easier to use in different lighting conditions. The monitor also supports a Dual Mode configuration, allowing users to switch between QHD at 540 Hz and HD at up to 720 Hz, depending on their preference for resolution or refresh rate. The M10S II includes a tournament mode that reduces the active display area to 24.5 inches, aligning with common esports standards. This can help players maintain focus and adapt to competitive environments more easily. Sony has also included two image presets—FPS Pro and FPS Pro+—which adjust color and contrast settings based on typical competitive gaming preferences.

The design of the monitor stand has been refined with input from Fnatic, offering a wider tilt range from 5° to 35°. The compact base is intended to provide more desk space for peripherals, while the centered weight distribution keeps the setup stable. The slim 4 mm panel profile also allows for flexible positioning. To support long-term use, the monitor includes thermal management features such as custom heat sinks, along with a three-year warranty that covers OLED-related concerns.

In addition to the headset and monitor, Sony has introduced Fnatic-themed versions of its INZONE Mouse A and mousepads. These accessories feature design elements inspired by Fnatic’s branding, including an orange color scheme and patterns influenced by its esports teams.

Sony is also expanding its INZONE Buds lineup with a new Glass Purple variant. These true wireless earbuds include active noise cancellation and are now available alongside existing black and white options, giving users more choice in design.

The INZONE H6 Air is available now with a retail price of $199.99, while the INZONE M10S II is scheduled to launch later this year at $1,099.99. Fnatic Edition accessories and the Glass Purple INZONE Buds are also available through Sony’s official channels and partner retailers.
