SCUF Gaming, CORSAIR’s gaming controller brand, has introduced the SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K PC, a new Controller aimed at PC gamers looking for faster input response, advanced analog stick technology, and additional customization options. The controller will be available in both wired and wireless versions, with pricing starting at $119.99 for the wired model and $199.99 for the wireless version.
The SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K PC arrives with support for an 8,000Hz polling rate. This specification has become increasingly common in high-end gaming mice and keyboards but remains less common among gaming controllers. According to SCUF, the controller can achieve a response time of less than 1ms when operating at its maximum polling rate.
The wired version reaches the 8,000Hz polling rate through its USB-C connection. Meanwhile, the wireless model supports the same high polling rate through both USB-C and its 2.4GHz wireless connection, giving players the option to use the controller with or without a cable.

SCUF has adopted an asymmetrical layout for the Nemesis Pro 8K PC and equipped it with electromagnetic analog sticks featuring TMR (tunnel magnetoresistive) sensor technology. TMR-based sensors are increasingly being used in gaming peripherals as an alternative to traditional potentiometer-based designs, with the technology focused on improving precision and reducing issues associated with mechanical wear.
The controller also uses Omron mechanical switches for its ABXY face buttons. SCUF has included triggers that can switch between linear and analog modes, allowing users to change their input setup based on the game being played. Racing and simulation games, for example, can benefit from analog trigger control, while faster digital-style inputs may be preferred in other genres.
Four customizable back buttons are also included, giving users access to additional controls without moving their thumbs away from the analog sticks. This feature is particularly useful for competitive games where quick access to multiple commands can make a difference during gameplay.
- 8,000Hz polling rate support
- Less than 1ms response time, according to SCUF
- Wired USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity
- Asymmetrical analog stick layout
- TMR electromagnetic joystick sensors
- Omron mechanical ABXY button switches
- Linear and analog trigger modes
- Four customizable back buttons
- Wired version starts at $119.99
