The REDMAGIC Astra 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with the company’s dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip. The dual-chip architecture is designed to improve gaming performance by handling graphics optimization, AI-assisted workload management, and system performance independently. To support sustained performance, REDMAGIC has upgraded its thermal solution with the new AquaCore Cooling System 2.0. The cooling system combines liquid cooling technology, Liquid Metal 3.0, an upgraded 4D vapor chamber, and Energy CUBE 3.0 intelligent thermal management. Together, these components help dissipate heat more efficiently, allowing the processor to maintain higher performance levels under heavy workloads.
The front of the tablet features a 9.06-inch 2.4K OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals for gaming and media consumption. REDMAGIC has also integrated Synaptics touch technology with up to 2,000Hz instant touch sampling, providing faster touch response during competitive gameplay.
