REDMAGIC 11 Air Trace Edition Launches Globally With Snapdragon 8 Elite and 7,000mAh Battery

Gaming smartphone brand REDMAGIC has officially introduced the REDMAGIC 11 Air Trace Edition for the global market, expanding the REDMAGIC 11 Air lineup that first appeared earlier in 2026. The new model focuses on delivering strong gaming performance in a thinner and lighter design compared to many gaming-oriented smartphones currently available. The device will be released worldwide on March 16, 2026, and will ship in a single configuration featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This configuration targets users who regularly play demanding mobile titles and require stable performance over long sessions.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform from Qualcomm. The chipset is designed for high-end Android devices and supports advanced graphics performance and improved power efficiency. Alongside the main processor, REDMAGIC includes its dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip, which handles several game-related tasks such as graphics optimization, audio processing, and input response.

The phone also integrates CUBE system-level scheduling, a feature designed to manage workloads between CPU and GPU components. This helps maintain stable frame rates during intensive gaming sessions and reduces performance fluctuations in titles that demand sustained processing power.

Thermal performance remains an important factor for gaming smartphones, and the Trace Edition continues REDMAGIC’s focus on cooling technology. The phone includes the company’s ICE Cooling System, which is designed to keep internal temperatures under control while the device runs demanding applications or games for extended periods.

Battery capacity is another key part of the device. The phone carries a 7,000mAh battery, which is larger than many flagship smartphones currently on the market. It also supports 80W fast charging, allowing users to recharge quickly and return to gaming without long interruptions.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air Trace Edition includes a high-refresh-rate display built for responsive gameplay and smooth visuals. The device also features fast memory and optimized touch controls designed to improve accuracy in competitive mobile games. Modern mobile titles such as PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact, and Delta Force continue to push smartphone hardware, and gaming-focused devices like the REDMAGIC series aim to maintain stable frame rates during extended sessions.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air Trace Edition starts at $599 / €599. According to the company, the device will be available globally beginning March 16, 2026, through the official REDMAGIC online store and selected retail partners.

However, the smartphone will not be available in Brazil and Korea at launch. The company stated that regional pricing and availability details will be shared through its official website as the global rollout continues. With its large battery, flagship chipset, and slim design, the new Trace Edition expands the REDMAGIC 11 Air lineup and targets users looking for a gaming-focused smartphone built for long play sessions.
