Nubia has started teasing its next gaming-focused smartphone, the REDMAGIC 11 Air, offering an early look at the device ahead of its official launch. The company has now shared full design images along with several confirmed features, giving users a clearer idea of what to expect from the upcoming model.
Based on the official material, the REDMAGIC 11 Air adopts a glass back with a gentle curve and a partially transparent finish. This design allows parts of the internal structure to remain visible, continuing a visual theme that has become familiar in recent REDMAGIC devices. Nubia plans to release the phone in three color options: Stardust White, Quantum Black, and Aurora Silver. While the black and white variants follow a more minimal appearance, the Aurora Silver version adds orange highlights that help differentiate it from the others.

The orange accents can be seen on the power button, around the rear camera rings, and across select design elements on the back panel. On the rear, the REDMAGIC 11 Air features a triple camera layout arranged vertically. Alongside the cameras sits the REDMAGIC logo, which includes RGB lighting. This lighting element ties into the phone’s gaming focus and works with the transparent rear panel to create a tech-oriented visual identity.
Nubia has also confirmed several hardware features aimed at improving sustained gaming performance. The REDMAGIC 11 Air will include an ultra-thick 4D Ice-Step vapor chamber designed to handle heat during extended play sessions. The device will also ship with REDMAGIC’s Cube gaming engine, which manages system resources during gameplay. In addition, the phone is equipped with the company’s self-developed Red Core R4 esports chip, intended to support input response and in-game performance features. A built-in PC emulator has also been confirmed, expanding the range of supported gaming experiences.

Despite its gaming hardware, the REDMAGIC 11 Air maintains a slim profile. Nubia has confirmed that the device measures 7.85mm in thickness, which is relatively thin compared to many gaming smartphones.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air is scheduled to debut in China on January 20, 2026. Nubia has yet to disclose full specifications, pricing, or global availability details. More information is expected to be shared closer to the launch date as the company continues its preview campaign.
