Razer has introduced two new wireless mechanical keyboards to its BlackWidow series — the BlackWidow V4 Low-profile HyperSpeed and BlackWidow V4 Low-profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed. These models mark the debut of Razer’s low-profile mechanical switches in the BlackWidow range, combining a streamlined design with features aimed at competitive and immersive gaming.
The keyboards feature Razer’s low-profile mechanical switches, available in green (clicky), yellow (linear), and orange (tactile) variants. With a reduced key height and an ultra-low 18.5 mm front height, the design promotes natural wrist alignment for greater comfort during extended sessions. The angled chassis eliminates the need for a wrist rest while maintaining a consistent keystroke feel.

Each switch is factory-lubricated and designed with a circular stem wall for improved light transmission, enhancing the Razer Chroma RGB lighting effects. The switches are rated for 80 million keystrokes, exceeding typical mechanical switch durability standards.
The BlackWidow V4 Low-profile models use a 5052 aluminium alloy top case for structural strength, dual sound-dampening foam layers, and a stainless steel plate. Pre-lubricated stabilizers help reduce key wobble and improve typing consistency, while the internal design produces a cleaner and crisper keystroke sound.

Equipped with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology, both models deliver a 2.4 GHz connection with a 1000 Hz polling rate for responsive input. Users can connect a compatible Razer mouse via the same dongle to save USB ports. The keyboards also support Bluetooth pairing with up to three devices for multitasking between systems.
Battery life reaches up to 980 hours in Bluetooth mode with Power Saving Mode enabled, making them suitable for long-term use without frequent charging.

Both models include dedicated macro keys, a clickable multi-function roller, and customizable controls for quick access to in-game commands, media, and battery status. Razer’s Snap Tap function allows instant prioritization of the latest key input, which can benefit fast-paced gameplay.
