The newly released 10-minute video follows Lana and her companion Mui as they move through Novo’s Northern Wastelands, a region shaped by the remains of a once-living world.
The Northern Wastelands are shown as an expansive robot graveyard, filled with collapsed machines, silent mechanical figures, and scattered debris. Environmental storytelling plays a central role, with the surroundings reflecting a long-forgotten conflict. The gameplay focuses on careful movement, puzzle-solving, and stealth as Lana and Mui navigate through hostile terrain.
During their journey, the pair encounters a massive wall marked with a familiar symbol, suggesting a deeper connection to events from the original game. Reaching what lies beyond the wall requires passing through darker areas, including underground sewers and flooded sections. These sequences introduce new challenges, with limited visibility and hazards that require coordination between Lana and Mui.
The sequel continues the cinematic puzzle-adventure format introduced in 2023’s Planet of Lana.
