Directive 8020 follows a crew sent on a mission to protect humanity. During the journey, a hostile alien lifeform infiltrates the ship, capable of perfectly mimicking its victims. This leads to constant suspicion among the crew as players attempt to determine who is human and who is not.
The game’s narrative structure is built around the new “Turning Points” system, allowing players to make decisions that affect the story’s direction. These choices can unlock alternative routes, change character outcomes, and lead to multiple endings. Exploration and player decisions will influence both survival and the fate of the crew.
