NVIDIA GeForce NOW Officially Launches in India, Paid Plans Start at ₹999 Per Month

NVIDIA has officially launched its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service in India, giving gamers across the country access to its cloud-based gaming platform without the need for a dedicated Gaming PC. The company is introducing the service with Early Access pricing tailored for the Indian market, making it more affordable for users who want to stream PC games over high-speed internet. The launch comes at a time when fiber broadband and 5G networks continue to expand across India, including many tier-2 and tier-3 cities where faster and lower-latency internet connections are becoming more common.

The service is available with both free and paid membership options. The free tier allows users to experience GeForce NOW without a subscription, although it comes with certain limitations. Players can stream supported games at up to 1080p resolution and 60 FPS in one-hour sessions. Since free users share server capacity, waiting times can exceed two minutes during busy periods, and advertisements are included before gameplay begins. Even with these limitations, the free membership provides access to more than 2,000 supported games, allowing users to try cloud gaming before upgrading.

For gamers who want a better experience, NVIDIA is offering the Performance membership at an introductory price of ₹999 per month. This plan removes advertisements, reduces queue times through priority server access, and extends gaming sessions to six hours. It also increases streaming quality to 1440p at 60 FPS and expands the supported game library to more than 4,500 titles, including games that require installation in addition to those that are ready to play.

Users looking for the highest level of performance can subscribe to the Ultimate membership, priced at ₹1,999 per month during the Early Access period. NVIDIA says this tier delivers cloud gaming performance comparable to a GeForce RTX 5080 gaming system. Depending on the supported game, display, and internet connection, subscribers can stream games at up to 5K resolution and 360 FPS. The Ultimate plan also includes gaming sessions lasting up to eight hours and the highest server priority, resulting in little or no waiting time before launching games.
