During Summer Game Fest 2025, Mundfish announced it will publish ILL, a first-person survival horror game developed by Team Clout. This marks the third major reveal from the studio at the event, following Atomic Heart II and The CUBE. ILL will be released under Mundfish Powerhouse, a new publishing label introduced last week.
Team Clout is based in Cyprus and includes developers with experience in both games and film. Some team members have worked on horror productions such as V/H/S/Beyond, Longlegs, IT: Welcome to Derry, and Azrael. That background plays a role in shaping ILL, which aims to deliver a dark, cinematic horror experience.
The game takes place in a remote research facility and is designed around detailed, realistic visuals and sound. The horror elements focus on body horror and physical reactions. Monsters in ILL can be dismembered using a complex damage system. Exposed bone, torn flesh, and other visual effects are part of the experience. The team has also added a binaural audio system to create a more intense atmosphere through directional sound.
Enemies in ILL behave in unpredictable ways. The game’s physics system allows the environment to react to the player’s actions. This affects both combat and exploration. Objects in the surroundings can influence encounters and be part of puzzles, giving players new ways to approach different situations.

Combat is designed to feel grounded. Weapons have distinct weights and handling. Players will need to maintain their gear, install upgrades, and monitor for issues like malfunctions. Crafting is another important feature, allowing players to build items and manage supplies. Strategic inventory use is expected to play a key role in surviving longer encounters.
While ILL doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date, it is available to wishlist on Steam. Mundfish has not revealed platform details or a release window, but more updates are expected later this year.

Robert Bagratuni, CEO of Mundfish, said the Powerhouse label was created to support developers with strong creative direction. He said the partnership with Team Clout reflects the kind of projects Mundfish wants to be involved with moving forward.

With its detailed presentation and focus on tension, ILL adds another dimension to the growing list of horror games announced this year.
