MOVESPEED has officially launched its latest storage device, the GD10 Portable SSD, featuring a unique design and a built-in screen for enhanced functionality. The SSD is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities and delivers transfer speeds of up to 1050MB/s through a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection.
The GD10 adopts a compact form factor, measuring 71 x 63 x 20 mm. Unlike traditional portable SSDs, it introduces a “cyber armor” design, which includes a rotating gear and a magnetic push-card element that doubles as a decompression toy feature. This design approach sets the GD10 apart from standard models that typically prioritize only durability and portability.
One of the key highlights of the GD10 is its integrated 1.83-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 284. The panel allows users to monitor transfer speeds, track power outage events, and manage drive encryption directly from the device. This built-in display eliminates the need to rely solely on software tools, offering direct access to essential information while the drive is in use.
In terms of performance, the GD10 utilizes a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface with a bandwidth of 10Gbps. Currently, MOVESPEED has launched the GD10 in its domestic market, with no confirmation yet on wider international availability.
