MINISFORUM has introduced an updated version of its X1 Pro mini PC, now powered by the Ryzen 9 HX 470 processor and integrated Radeon 890M graphics. This Mini PC is designed for users seeking a compact system capable of handling AI applications, productivity tasks, and light gaming, placing it in the mid-to-high-end segment of the mini PC market.

The new version closely follows the hardware configuration of the previous X1 Pro, with the main change being the processor. The Ryzen 9 HX 470 retains the combination of 4 Zen 5 cores and 8 Zen 5c cores seen in the HX 370, but its maximum frequency has increased slightly from 5.1GHz to 5.2GHz. The AI acceleration unit has also been improved, offering about 10% higher performance and reaching a computing power of 55 TOPS.

In addition to the processor upgrade, the X1 Pro is equipped with an AMD Radeon 890M integrated graphics card. This allows the mini PC to handle games and applications with lower system requirements at 1080p resolution. Users who need higher graphics performance can connect an external GPU through OCuLink or the two USB 4 ports. Memory support is flexible, allowing up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM, while storage can be expanded across three M.2 2280 SSDs, providing ample space for programs, data, and media.

The X1 Pro maintains a compact design, measuring 19.5 × 19.5 × 4.8cm and featuring an aluminum alloy chassis. Security features include a built-in fingerprint sensor compatible with Windows Hello. For display options, the mini PC offers DisplayPort 2.0, HDMI 2.1, and two USB-C ports, enabling connections to up to four monitors simultaneously, making it suitable for multitasking and professional workflows.

This mini PC also supports multiple connectivity options for peripherals, storage expansion, and display setups, ensuring flexibility for both personal and professional use. The combination of upgraded CPU performance, enhanced AI capabilities, and flexible graphics options makes the X1 Pro with Ryzen 9 HX 470 a capable system for users requiring compact performance without the need for a full desktop setup.
The MINISFORUM X1 Pro with Ryzen 9 HX 470 is now available for pre-order, offering a balance of performance, expandability, and connectivity for users in the mid-to-high-end mini PC segment.
