Maxtang Launches T1-FP550 Mini PC With AMD Ryzen Picasso CPUs and Dual LAN

Maxtang has introduced the T1-FP550, a new compact mini PC built around AMD’s Ryzen “Picasso” platform. The new system is designed for business, industrial, embedded, and edge computing applications, offering multiple processor options, expandable memory, flexible storage support, and a wide range of I/O ports in a compact form factor.

The Maxtang T1-FP550 measures 127 × 127 × 50.5 mm, making it suitable for installations where space is limited. Despite its compact size, the system includes several expansion options that allow users to customize it for different workloads.

The mini PC is available with five AMD processor options based on the Zen+ “Picasso” architecture. Customers can choose between the Ryzen 7 3700U, Ryzen 5 3500U, Ryzen Embedded R2544, Ryzen Embedded R2514, and Ryzen Embedded R2314. These processors combine quad-core CPUs with integrated Radeon graphics, making the platform suitable for office computing, digital signage, industrial automation, point-of-sale systems, and networking applications.

For memory, the T1-FP550 features two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots, allowing users to install and upgrade RAM depending on their requirements. Storage expansion is equally flexible, thanks to two M.2 slots. One M.2 slot supports PCIe SSDs, while the second slot supports both PCIe and SATA SSDs, giving users additional storage configuration options.

The system also includes a SATA interface through an FPC connector, making it possible to connect another SATA storage device. In addition, Maxtang has reserved an M.2 slot for a wireless network module, allowing users to add Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity if required.

Connectivity is another strong point of the T1-FP550. The front panel includes a full-featured USB Type-C port with 10Gbps bandwidth, two USB Type-A 5Gbps ports, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack for headsets or speakers.

On the rear, users will find two Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE) RJ45 ports, making the mini PC suitable for firewall deployments, gateway systems, and other networking tasks. Video output is handled through one HDMI port and one DisplayPort, allowing multiple display configurations. The rear I/O is completed by an additional USB Type-C 5Gbps port and one USB Type-A 480Mbps port for peripherals.
