Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Supermassive Games have officially released Little Nightmares III, the latest entry in the dark and imaginative puzzle-platform series. The game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the original Nintendo Switch, marking the most extensive platform launch in the franchise’s history.
Little Nightmares III introduces players to an entirely new story set within the Spiral, a world filled with delusions and strange realities, located deep within the mysterious realm known as Nowhere. Players take control of two new protagonists, Low and Alone, who must work together to escape the Spiral’s many dangers. Low, a boy wearing a blue cape and mask, and Alone, his companion dressed in a green jumpsuit and pigtails, each possesses unique tools that help them solve puzzles and face the eerie creatures that inhabit the environment.
For the first time in the series, Little Nightmares III includes online cooperative play. Players can now experience the entire story together, each controlling one of the two main characters. This addition allows a deeper level of teamwork and interaction as players rely on one another to progress through complex environments. Using the new Friend’s Pass feature, only one player needs to own the game, while their partner can join the adventure for free. In addition to the standard edition, a Deluxe Edition of Little Nightmares III is available. It includes The Secrets of the Spiral expansion pass, which will introduce two additional chapters at a later date, offering more insight into the world and its mysterious inhabitants. The Deluxe Edition also features an exclusive costume set inspired by familiar characters from previous games in the series, adding a touch of nostalgia for long-time fans.
With Little Nightmares III, Supermassive Games continues to explore the series’ signature mix of suspenseful storytelling and atmospheric world design.
