Lian Li Launches Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 PSUs With Up to 1350W Power

Lian Li is expanding its Edge power supply lineup with the new Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 PSUs, bringing up to 1350W of power, ATX 3.1 support, revised cabling, and new hardware monitoring features for modern gaming PCs. The company is also introducing the Edge Hub ADV, which adds temperature monitoring for compatible GPU power cables.

The new PSUs continue to use Lian Li’s L-shaped design, which is intended for dual-chamber PC cases where the power supply sits behind the motherboard. This layout moves the modular connections toward the side of the PSU, giving builders more room to manage cables away from the main component area.

The Edge Platinum V2 range includes 1000W, 1200W, and 1350W models, while the Edge Gold V2 is available in 850W and 1000W capacities. All models use a fully modular ATX 3.1 design and measure 182 x 86 x 150 mm. Lian Li also equips the PSUs with 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fans and backs the range with a 10-year warranty.

The Platinum models carry 80 PLUS Platinum, Cybenetics Platinum, and PPLP Platinum certifications. The Gold models are rated for 80 PLUS Gold, Cybenetics Gold, and PPLP Gold. The Platinum V2 models also include a removable magnetic dust filter and a fan maintenance reminder that changes an internal indicator after 360 hours of fan operation.

Lian Li has revised the cabling as well. The Platinum V2 comes with individually braided cables and pre-installed cable combs on the motherboard and GPU power cables. The 12V-2×6 connector also uses a two-color housing to make it easier to check the connection during installation.

The 1350W Edge Platinum V2 gets additional features aimed at high-end systems. It includes shorter 20+4-pin and 12V-2×6 cables for back-connect motherboards and Strimer installations. Its dedicated 12V-2×6 cable can also work with the Edge Hub ADV to monitor GPU-side temperature.

The new Edge Hub ADV is designed to monitor the temperature of up to two 12V-2×6 GPU power cables along with the hub itself. Through L-Connect 3, users can monitor temperatures and receive alerts. If a temperature remains above the configured limit for 15 minutes, the system can automatically shut down.

The Edge Hub V2 is also part of the new lineup and provides four USB header connections and six independently controlled PWM fan channels. It is included with the 1000W Edge Gold V2 and the 1000W and 1200W Edge Platinum V2 models.
