Keychron Z6-75 Ultra Launches in China With 8KHz Tri-Mode and 210-Day Battery Life

Keychron has expanded its Z-series mechanical keyboard lineup with the introduction of the Z6-75 Ultra in China. The new model adopts a 75% layout, offering 81 keys along with a dedicated rotary knob. This layout continues to appeal to users looking for a compact mechanical keyboard that retains essential keys, including the function row and arrow cluster, while reducing desk space usage.

The Keychron Z6-75 Ultra supports tri-mode connectivity, allowing users to switch between wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connections. In wired and 2.4GHz modes, the keyboard supports a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz, targeting lower input latency for gaming and competitive use. Over Bluetooth, the company rates the keyboard for up to 210 days of battery life, depending on usage conditions. The device is powered by an integrated 8,000mAh battery and runs on ZMK low-power firmware, which is known for its focus on wireless efficiency and customization features.

In terms of build quality, the Z6-75 Ultra features an aluminum alloy chassis finished with electrophoresis and powder coating. It also includes a CNC-machined backplate designed to enhance structural rigidity. The keyboard uses a gasket mounting structure that combines a PC mounting plate with a single-key slotted, south-facing RGB LED PCB. Internally, five layers of filler material are integrated to help manage typing acoustics and reduce vibration during use.

The keyboard comes equipped with Silk POM Red mechanical switches, offering a linear keystroke suited for fast typing and gaming. It is paired with OSA-height PBT double-shot keycaps, which are designed to improve durability and resist long-term shine from frequent use. The overall weight is listed at approximately 1694±50 grams, reflecting its metal construction and internal layering.

With support for 8KHz polling, multi-device connectivity, and a large battery capacity, the Keychron Z6-75 Ultra adds another option to the company’s growing portfolio of mechanical keyboards in China. Details regarding pricing and availability outside the Chinese market have not been announced at the time of writing.
