Keychron has announced the K3 Max All-Wood Special Edition, adding another model to its growing lineup of keyboards built with non-traditional materials. The new release adapts the existing K3 Max low-profile mechanical keyboard by replacing the standard chassis with a walnut wood case and introducing updated Milk POM low-profile switches.

The K3 Max All-Wood Edition retains the slim profile that defines the K3 series. The keyboard measures 10.7 mm at the front edge, increasing to 20.2 mm when the keycaps are included. This keeps it only slightly taller than the regular K3 Max, avoiding the raised typing angle seen on some earlier wood-based models from the company.

Keychron uses the same internal steel plate as the standard K3 Max, ensuring consistent rigidity and typing feel. The keyboard is offered with Milk POM linear red or tactile brown switches. While clicky and silent options are not available, the board supports Gateron KS-33 low-profile hot-swap sockets, allowing users to install compatible third-party switches.

Wireless connectivity remains a core feature. The keyboard supports both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2, enabling multi-device pairing across different platforms. Power is supplied by a 1550 mAh battery, which Keychron rates for up to 86 hours of use, depending on settings and usage patterns.

The K3 Max All-Wood Edition uses Keychron’s LSA low-profile keycap profile. The double-shot PBT keycaps are color-matched to the walnut chassis, giving the keyboard a uniform appearance while maintaining durability for long-term use.
The Keychron K3 Max All-Wood Special Edition is available now through the company’s official online store, priced at $119.99.
