Jonsbo Launches X400 WHITE Chassis With Exoskeleton Frame and Rear-Mounted Motherboard Support

Jonsbo has officially introduced the silver-white version of its X400 series chassis, known as the X400 WHITE. This new PC Case expands the existing lineup by offering a lighter color option while keeping the same structural design and internal layout found in the original X400. The company continues to target users who prefer showcase-style PC builds with a focus on clean cable routing and organized airflow.

The X400 WHITE follows a compartmentalized internal structure combined with an ocean-view-style layout. It retains the three-dimensional exoskeleton frame design previously seen in the BO400 series, which forms a rigid outer shell around the main chassis. This exposed frame gives the case a mechanical look that fits well with gaming-focused and industrial-themed setups. Jonsbo has also kept tool-free access as a core feature, allowing the top cover and front panel to be opened and closed using a snap-on mechanism, reducing the time required for upgrades and routine maintenance.

Physically, the case measures 460.2 x 310.3 x 476.5 mm and weighs around 10.2 kg. It supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards, including rear-mounted motherboard configurations. Rear-mounted support allows cables to be routed behind the motherboard tray, helping reduce clutter in the main chamber and improving the visual presentation through the glass panels.

Internally, the X400 WHITE uses a left-right compartment layout with dual transparent glass side panels. This design separates key components while keeping them visible, which is useful for users who want to display RGB lighting or custom cooling hardware. Jonsbo has included a motherboard auxiliary airflow cooling system, enabling the installation of up to two 120 mm fans directly in the motherboard area. These fans can help provide additional airflow to components such as VRMs and memory modules, especially in high-performance systems.

The front I/O panel includes two USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, covering common connectivity needs. An ARGB light strip is integrated around the front USB area, adding a subtle lighting element without overwhelming the overall design. On the rear side, the case features removable dual cable management panels, which simplify cable routing and make dust cleaning more manageable over long-term use.

Storage support includes space for up to two 3.5-inch hard drives and one 2.5-inch drive. For graphics cards, the X400 WHITE comes with a standard GPU support bracket designed to help stabilize larger, heavier cards, including current high-end models. Users who prefer a vertical GPU installation can purchase an optional adapter bracket and PCIe riser cable separately.

The case also supports Jonsbo’s “Light and Shadow Blade” series of air and liquid cooling solutions, allowing builders to maintain a consistent component lineup. With its combination of rear-mounted motherboard compatibility, exoskeleton frame design, and tool-free panels, the Jonsbo X400 WHITE is positioned as a feature-rich chassis for users looking to build a clean and visually organized PC system.
