JMGO is taking its 4K 120Hz projector technology to the global market, with the new IRIS Series set to make its international debut at IFA 2026. The lineup is aimed at users who want a large-screen setup for gaming, movies, and sports without sacrificing the motion performance typically associated with high-refresh-rate displays.
The range is led by the JMGO IRIS Ultra Max, which combines 4K resolution at 120 Hz with up to 6,500 ISO lumens and a 10,000:1 native contrast ratio. The less expensive IRIS Ultra retains the 4K 120Hz platform while reducing the brightness and contrast specifications.
JMGO says the projectors use a dual-DLPC architecture and its HyperPulse Actuator, which shifts 480 times per second. This allows the system to maintain 4K image detail at 120 Hz rather than simply using frame interpolation to create the impression of a higher refresh rate.
Gaming is a major part of the IRIS Series pitch. Both projectors support VRR and ALLM, with 4K gaming at up to 120 FPS on compatible hardware. The company also claims Dolby Vision support at 4K 120 Hz, combining high-refresh playback with HDR picture quality.
For movies and sports, JMGO uses 4K 120Hz MEMC to improve the appearance of fast camera movements and action. Hardware-level Anti-RBE technology is also included to reduce visible rainbow artifacts while keeping operating noise under control.
The optical system is another key part of the Ultra Max. It combines a 0.88-1.7:1 optical zoom, four-way lens shift, and an AI-powered gimbal with 360-degree pan and 150-degree tilt. This gives owners more freedom to position the projector and adjust the image without relying on digital scaling.
The IRIS Ultra keeps the optical zoom and four-way lens-shift system but does not include the Ultra Max’s full gimbal system. Both models also support AI Screen Fitting and other software features designed to simplify installation.
JMGO first introduced its 4K 120Hz projector technology in China in May. The company says more than 5,000 units were sold during the first three months, prompting the move into international markets.
Pre-orders for the IRIS Series started September 4. Early pricing puts the IRIS Ultra Max at $2,999, down from its $3,499 MSRP, while the IRIS Ultra costs $1,899, compared with its $2,399 MSRP. Both models will be showcased globally at IFA 2026.
