IQUNIX is preparing to launch the EV63 EDG Edition, a new Hall Effect gaming keyboard developed in collaboration with EDward Gaming (EDG). The upcoming model combines the EV63 platform’s competitive gaming features with a black-and-gold design inspired by the esports organization’s history in VALORANT. While IQUNIX has confirmed that the keyboard is coming soon, its price and exact release date have yet to be announced.

The IQUNIX EV63 EDG Edition uses HyperCore V3.1 firmware and supports an 8,000Hz polling rate, 16,000Hz scanning, and 0.01mm Rapid Trigger. According to the company’s internal testing, actuation latency ranges from 0.29 to 0.30 milliseconds, while release latency falls between 0.26 and 0.27 milliseconds. These figures are manufacturer-reported and have not been independently verified.

The keyboard also features IQUNIX’s Timing Synchronization System (TSS), developed with feedback from EDG. The system aligns input processing with the PC’s USB polling cycle to improve response timing consistency during gameplay. This could be useful in competitive titles such as VALORANT, where quick movement adjustments and repeated keypresses are important.

The EDG Edition features custom keycaps and case details in the team’s signature colors. Its design includes a star emblem commemorating EDG’s 2024 VALORANT Champions victory and a keycap celebrating the team’s 2026 VCT CN Stage 1 title. The package also includes two CNC-machined metal keycaps with enamel detailing, frosted PC keycaps with a soft-touch finish, six EDG player cards, and keycaps featuring raised player signatures.

Other features include Gamepad Mode, which lets keypress depth control different input levels in supported games, and Smart Switch Adaptation. IQUNIX claims the latter can automatically recognize 99% of mainstream Hall Effect switches. The keyboard comes with Magnetic X Ultra switches, which the company says are designed to provide stronger magnetic flux and improved signal stability.

The EV63 EDG Edition will be the sixth colorway in the EV63 lineup, joining the Violet, Silver Knight, Dark Knight, Ghost in the Shell Core, and Ghost in the Shell Cyber Blue versions. IQUNIX has not disclosed pricing or regional availability. More information is expected closer to launch.
