Silver Lining Interactive has confirmed that INDIKA, the story-driven adventure from developer Odd Meter, will launch on Nintendo Switch in a physical edition this autumn. The game is available for pre-order via Silver Lining Direct and at select retail stores.
Set in an alternative Russia at the turn of the 19th century, INDIKA follows a young nun on a journey that quickly turns into a surreal and often darkly comic odyssey. Accompanying her is the devil, creating an unusual dynamic that drives the story forward. The game explores themes of faith, authority, and human nature while combining moments of tragedy and humour.
Indika, the protagonist, begins as a disciplined nun, adapting to the routines of monastic life. Her bond with the horned tempter draws her into a world that mixes the sacred and profane, revealing new layers of mystery with every step. The narrative reflects literary influences reminiscent of 19th-century Russian authors, offering a blend of comedy, tragedy, and surreal storytelling.

Developed by Odd Meter, a small independent team formerly based in Moscow and now operating from Kazakhstan, INDIKA brings a unique approach to indie adventure games. Players will encounter atmospheric environments, inventive puzzles, and 2D pixel-art mini-games that provide insight into Indika’s past. The game’s design emphasizes exploration and narrative-driven mechanics within a visually distinctive world.
Key features include:
- Third-person adventure with a darkly comic narrative
- Journey of self-discovery set in a reimagined 19th-century Russia
- The devil as an unconventional travel companion
- Puzzle elements integrated into the storyline
- Surreal landscapes and atmospheric world-building
- 2D pixel-art mini-games revealing the protagonist’s history
The Nintendo Switch physical edition of INDIKA will be released this autumn, giving players the opportunity to own a boxed version of the indie title. Pre-orders are open now through Silver Lining Direct and participating retailers. This edition provides a chance to experience one of the more distinctive narrative-driven indie games of the year on the Switch platform.
