GPD has confirmed that its new WIN Mini Ultra handheld gaming console is coming soon. The company announced the device on Weibo, revealing that it will use Intel’s Arc G3 Extreme mobile platform. However, GPD has not yet shared an official launch date, pricing, or the full hardware specifications.
The GPD WIN Mini Ultra is expected to build on the company’s compact handheld gaming lineup, offering PC gaming hardware in a portable form factor. According to previous rumors, the device could feature 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and an M.2 2280 SSD slot, giving users the option to install a high-capacity solid-state drive. These specifications have not been confirmed by GPD, so the final configuration may differ.

The rumored display specifications include an 8-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. The screen is also expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync technology, which could help reduce screen tearing during gameplay. If these details prove accurate, the WIN Mini Ultra would offer a relatively large display for a compact handheld gaming PC.
Connectivity and power are also expected to be important parts of the device. Previous reports point to two USB4 v2 ports, while the system’s thermal design power (TDP) could reach 45W. The handheld is also rumored to include a 56Wh battery and support 100W USB Power Delivery (PD) fast charging. Actual battery life will depend on the final hardware, power settings, and games being played.
For now, the Intel Arc G3 Extreme platform is the main hardware detail confirmed by GPD. The company has yet to disclose the processor configuration, graphics specifications, final memory and storage options, or other key details. Pricing and availability also remain unknown. More information is expected as GPD moves closer to the official launch of the WIN Mini Ultra.
