Google has raised the price of every Pixel 11 model by $100, but the company is using preorder incentives to make the higher prices easier to accept. Buyers can get up to $350 in gift cards when preordering the new Pixel phones, while Amazon and Best Buy are matching Google’s offers.
The Pixel 11 now starts at $899 for the 256GB model, making it $100 more expensive than its predecessor. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL costs $1,299 with 256GB of storage. Google’s foldable flagship has also become more expensive, with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold starting at $1,899, compared with $1,799 for the previous-generation model.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets the largest incentive, with its $350 gift card reducing the effective cost of the phone to $1,549 if the full credit is used toward a future purchase. The standard Pixel 11 gets the smallest offer at $100, which effectively brings its cost closer to the previous generation’s launch price.
Google is also giving Pixel 11 buyers another option through the Google Store. Instead of taking store credit, eligible customers can choose a discount on the new Pixel Watch 5. Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL buyers, for example, can receive $250 off the smartwatch rather than the $200 store credit.
The new phones are scheduled to start shipping on August 20, while Google’s preorder promotion is set to run through August 27. Amazon and Best Buy are also participating, giving customers more places to claim the launch offers.
The Pixel 11 lineup is not only about higher prices. Google has also upgraded wireless charging across all four models. The phones support 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging, up from 15W on most of last year’s Pixel lineup. For users who regularly charge their phones wirelessly, the higher charging rate could make the new generation more convenient.
The combination of higher launch prices and preorder rewards puts the Pixel 11 lineup in an interesting position. Buyers who already planned to purchase a new Pixel may find the gift cards useful, while those who are less interested in Google’s ecosystem may see the $100 price increase as a bigger issue.
