GameSir has introduced the X5 Lite for Xbox, a new telescopic mobile controller that expands on the original X5 Lite with official Xbox licensing, Hall Effect analog triggers, Apple MFi certification, and physically swappable ABXY buttons. The controller is designed for players using smartphones and compact tablets for native mobile games, cloud gaming, and remote play, with a USB-C connection instead of Bluetooth.
It replaces the original model’s membrane triggers with Hall Effect analog triggers, while retaining GameSir’s Hall Effect stick technology. The new controller also allows the physical positions of the ABXY buttons to be swapped, giving users more flexibility with button layouts. According to GameSir, the X5 Lite for Xbox supports iPhone, iPad, and Android devices through a wired USB-C connection and is available in black and white.
The telescopic design supports devices measuring up to 213 mm in length, putting larger smartphones and compact tablets within its supported range. GameSir has also included a movable USB-C connector, silicone pads for device protection, and pass-through charging, while settings and supported customization options can be accessed through the GameSir App. The controller can be used for compatible mobile games, Xbox cloud gaming, and PC gaming through GameSir GameHub.
The X5 Lite for Xbox is priced at $44.99 and is currently listed for pre-order, with shipping scheduled for October 2026. By comparison, the standard X5 Lite remains available for $34.99 and uses membrane triggers, making the Xbox version a $10 step up for buyers who want the additional compatibility and upgraded trigger hardware.
