GameSir has announced a new special edition controller inspired by Nioh 3, the upcoming installment in Koei Tecmo’s action RPG franchise. The GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Nioh 3 Edition combines a themed exterior with hardware specifications aimed at competitive PC players and fans of high-speed action titles.

The design reflects the Living Weapon state associated with the Nioh series. The controller features a black finish across the grips, paired with gold accents that reference the spiritual energy theme seen in the game. While the aesthetic clearly targets Nioh 3 players, the internal hardware is designed to meet broader performance demands on PC.

The G7 Pro 8K PC operates with an 8000Hz polling rate across both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, enabling exceptionally fast communication between the controller and the system. By refreshing input data up to 8000 times per second, it significantly cuts down input latency, ensuring that button presses and analog stick movements are registered almost instantly.
In demanding action titles where parries, dodges, and counterattacks rely on tight timing windows, this reduced latency contributes to more consistent execution. The faster response can translate into smoother control during rapid exchanges, helping maintain accuracy when split-second decisions matter most.

The controller is equipped with second-generation GameSir Mag-Res TMR sticks. These sticks use magnetic technology to avoid physical contact within the module, reducing wear and minimizing the risk of stick drift. Compared to the first generation, the updated version is designed to provide smoother and more linear input response while maintaining efficient power consumption. The combination of magnetic sensing and 8K polling aims to deliver accurate control for demanding gameplay situations.

GameSir has also implemented dual-mode trigger stops. Users can switch between Hall Effect analog triggers and micro switch triggers depending on their preference or the type of game being played. Hall Effect triggers provide smooth, progressive input suited for titles requiring gradual acceleration or pressure sensitivity. Micro switch triggers offer shorter travel and faster actuation, which can benefit action-heavy games that rely on quick attacks and rapid skill activation.
The G7 Pro 8K PC includes four programmable macro buttons, consisting of two lockable back buttons and two additional mini bumpers. Each button supports up to 32-step macro recording, allowing players to map complex command sequences to a single input. The ABXY buttons use optical micro switch technology for accurate actuation and improved durability, while the redesigned D-pad aims to deliver more precise directional input.

For feedback, the controller features dual asymmetric motors in the grips, paired with an instant start-stop circuit to produce clearer vibration effects. A built-in 6-axis gyroscope adds motion control capability for compatible PC titles. Customization is handled through GameSir Connect software, which allows users to adjust performance settings, remap buttons, and fine-tune sensitivity.
Pre-orders for the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Nioh 3 Edition are now available. With its themed design and high polling rate, the controller is positioned as a premium option for PC gamers preparing for the release of Nioh 3.
