GameSir has announced that the G7 Pro 8K PC Controller is now available for pre-order. Designed for competitive PC gaming, the new Controller combines high polling rates, magnetic stick technology, hardware-level customization, and official licensing through a partnership with Aimlabs, the FPS training software platform.
The G7 Pro 8K PC supports an 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. This means the controller can report inputs up to 8,000 times per second, reducing the delay between button presses and on-screen actions. In competitive gaming, especially in fast-paced shooter titles, lower latency and higher reporting frequency can contribute to more consistent input recognition.
The controller features the second-generation GameSir Mag-Res TMR stick system. These analog sticks rely on magnetic sensing technology to reduce internal friction and remove physical contact within the mechanism. This approach helps limit mechanical wear over time and reduces the likelihood of long-term stick drift.
GameSir has refined the Gen-2 TMR sticks for smoother, more consistent movement with a linear response curve that feels controlled during both subtle adjustments and rapid directional inputs. The updated design also improves power efficiency, which can contribute to longer play sessions without compromising responsiveness.
Paired with an 8000Hz polling rate, the sticks are built to register inputs with high precision. Quick flicks, fast turns, and fine aim corrections translate accurately on screen, making the controller suitable for competitive titles where tracking and timing matter.
The G7 Pro 8K PC also features dual-mode trigger stops. Users can switch between Hall Effect analog triggers and micro switch triggers depending on their preferred play style. The Hall Effect mode provides a gradual, linear input suitable for racing, sports, and simulation titles. The micro switch option shortens trigger travel distance and offers faster actuation, which can benefit players in competitive shooter environments where quick response is critical.
Customization is another focus of the controller’s design. The device includes four programmable macro buttons: two lockable back buttons and two additional mini bumpers. Each button supports up to 32-step macro recording, allowing players to assign complex in-game actions. This setup enables users to tailor the controller layout for different genres or competitive scenarios.
GameSir has also implemented optical micro switch technology for the ABXY buttons. By relying on optical detection rather than traditional mechanical contact, the buttons are engineered for consistent actuation and extended durability. The D-pad structure has been revised to improve directional accuracy and reliability during gameplay.
For haptic feedback, the G7 Pro 8K PC integrates dual asymmetric motors inside the grips. An instant start-stop circuit allows the vibration motors to react and halt more precisely, creating clearer feedback during in-game events such as impacts or environmental effects. The controller also includes a built-in 6-axis gyroscope, supporting motion control in compatible titles and enabling fine aiming adjustments.
Through the GameSir Connect software, users can adjust performance settings, remap buttons, and configure macros. The controller carries official Aimlabs licensing and features a cyan design inspired by the training platform’s visual identity.
With pre-orders now open, the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC enters the market as a controller built around high polling rates, magnetic stick durability, and expanded customization for competitive PC players.
