EPOS Launches Upgraded IMPACT 100 Series Headsets with Lightweight Design and Broad UC Support

EPOS has officially released the next-generation IMPACT 100 Series, targeting businesses and professionals looking for a reliable, entry-level communication headset with modern enhancements. The new lineup brings improvements in comfort, design, and compatibility, while maintaining a cost-effective price point.

The updated IMPACT 100 Series has been designed for users who spend most of their workday in calls or virtual meetings. With a strong focus on comfort, the headset weighs just 76 grams, making it one of the lightest stereo headsets in its category. A soft silicone headband and upgraded leatherette earpads contribute to the overall ergonomic improvements, aiming to reduce fatigue during long hours of use.

EPOS has also enhanced the headset’s controls. The in-line controller includes smart buttons with backlighting and distinct shapes, allowing users to manage calls with minimal distraction. This helps streamline the user experience, particularly in fast-paced work environments where intuitive handling is crucial.

The EPOS IMPACT 100 Series includes USB-C and USB-A connectivity, bundled via a dual adapter to support a broad range of hardware setups. This ensures compatibility with both modern and legacy systems without the need for additional accessories. The headsets are fully certified for Microsoft Teams and other major unified communications (UC) platforms, supporting seamless integration across a variety of business tools.

Durability remains a key part of the design. Built from robust materials, the headset is intended for daily use in demanding professional settings such as customer service, sales teams, and support desks. Despite being positioned as an entry-level model, EPOS emphasizes that the IMPACT 100 Series upholds enterprise-grade performance standards.

Jesper Kock, Vice President of Research & Development at EPOS, commented on the release: “The IMPACT 100 marks a significant addition to our portfolio, delivering high-quality sound and comfort. This upgrade to our legacy product exemplifies our commitment to innovation, bringing top-tier performance to an entry-level headset price.”

The EPOS IMPACT 100 Series is available starting June 17, 2025, through authorized EPOS partners and resellers. Pricing begins at €50 in Europe, $65 in the United States, and £45 in the United Kingdom.

The launch of this series adds to EPOS’s broader IMPACT Next Generation portfolio, further strengthening its position in the professional headset market by providing accessible solutions for businesses focused on clear communication and daily efficiency.
